Miami Dolphins Offseason Address

After a hopeful season turned dark once again at the hands of the high-flying offense of the Denver Broncos for the second year in a row, the Dolphins front office decided to go “ALL IN” on the defensive side of the ball this offseason. I feel we have brought in the right players: Cromartie, Tamba Hali, and Alfred Morris through Free Agency and Jesse Williams from a trade with the Oakland Raiders. These players along with our returning players from last year will hopefully allow us to make that extra push into contention for a Superbowl.
On the offensive side of the ball, we were willing to move Wallace for more assets but after a bit of thinking we felt that it would be more beneficial to keep him. Instead we have spent a majority of our remaining cap space to take pressure off Ryan Tannehill by surrounding him with some explosive playmakers. The acquisitions of Alfred Morris, Chris Givens and TJ Graham have given us hopes that our offense can compete with the rest of the league.
The draft will allow us to fill our remaining roster with depth at all positions, mainly Wide Receiver, Defensive End, and Cornerback.
Next season will be a test for the Miami Dolphins organization as we have put ourselves in a ‘Win Now’ situation. With this highly touted roster full of playmakers, it’s pretty much Superbowl or Bust….
