Week 8

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 25
1. (-) San Fransisco 49ers
Blitzu
Record 7-0

The 49ers sit on top of the EveryLittleYard throne, currently being undefeated in the league and the last team that remains such. They are coming off a strong victory, 31-13, against the Denver Broncos (unranked). Kaep had a wonderful day, going 16/16 for 240 yards and a touchdown. The 49ers true strength on offense, though, is their running game which boasts a top 5 effort, allowing the game to be dictated on their terms. San Francisco now sits on a bye week, leaving open the door to some danger of dipping in the rankings slightly.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 1
2. (-) Atlanta Falcons
mille117
Record 6-1

After years of toiling away, EveryLittleYard veteran head coach Mille117 has come alive this year with his Falcons soaring to a 6-1 record, sitting on top of the NFC South, and vying for the NFC's best record. This new, winning spirit seems to be no fluke as the team sits in 2nd place in terms of points scored and yards racked up. The Falcons closed out last week on a high note, surviving somewhat comfortably after a shootout with the Ravens (unranked). winning 41-31. In this game, electrifying wide receiver Julio Jones showed up big with 177 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 10 catches. The Falcons now invite the Detroit Lions (unranked) into Atlanta for an exciting home match up.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 29
3. (-) Carolina Panthers
Smitty
Record 6-1

The Panthers check in at third on the Rankings this week and is the second NFC South team in the top three! They are coming off a win over the Packers where they displayed a strong performance through the air. This week will prove a big test for the Panthers though as they face the 5-1 Seahawks who are breathing down their neck in the Rankings. Who will come out on top?

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 26
4. (-) Seattle Seahawks
Jarko
Record 5-1

The Seahawks come off a big Win vs the Rams 42-22. Even though the Seahawks are known as a running team they have moved the ball better through the air this season. Wilson is leading the attack and his favorite target seems to be Percy Harvin. This week will be a bit tougher than last week as the Rams owner seems lax in his control of his team. The Seahawks play the 6-1 Panthers this week who are just above them in the Rankings. It's going to be a fun week!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 15
5. (-) Miami Dolphins
BullBallin
Record 5-1

The first AFC team we see on our Rankings this week are the Miami Dolphins. They sit atop of the AFC and are coming off a win over the Bears. They look to strengthen their hold of the AFC with a trip to Jacksonville which should prove an easy task. One interesting thing with the Dolphins is that they seem to rely on Matt Moore as their signal caller. We have asked if Tannehill is injured but haven't received any comments from the 'fins front office.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 10
6. (-) Tennessee Titans
tnbuz
Record 5-2

The Titans sit at a respectable record and are looking to improve as they take on the divisional rival Houstoon Texans this week. Last week they beat the Washington Redskins 17-14 in a very close game. What it came down to was turnovers are the Titans threw two picks while the Redkins threw one and also fumbled the ball twice. Good job from the Titans defense as they stopped Washington in the Redzone once.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 30
7. (-) Jacksonville Jaguars
calliphlyboy21
Record 5-2

The Jaguars are coming off a 7-point loss to the Browns at home where the final score was 21-28. They are very proud of their running back Jordan Todman as they rely on him very heavily this year while they let Blake Bortles manage the game as well as possible. They are now taking on the Miami Dolphins and they are looking to bounce back from the loss with a distinctive win.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 23
8. (-) Pittsburgh Steelers
Richurd
Record 5-2

The Steelers check in at 8 of our Rankings as they enjoy a win over the Texans last week. The final score was 34-22 in a game where their newly aquired QB, Jimmy Garoppolo managed to throw for 255 yards and a TD on 18/20 attempts. The Steelers prove that they have faith in their young QB as they sit 1st in Passing yards per game as well as total yards per game! This week the Steelrs take on the Colts as they look to improve further and grab a stranglehold of their division.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 12
9. (-) Kansas City Chiefs
ashman8
Record 4-2

In Kansas City times are looking good as they have trust in Alex Smith at QB. They have the powerhouse Jamaal Charles at RB and it looks like the trend is heading upwards. Last week they beat the Chargers 55-10 as Charles had 21 carries for 125 yards. This week they face off against the winless Rams and it should be a walk in the park for them as they look to improve their rushing and aim for the top spot in that category.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 19
10. (-) New York Giants
joshtradamus
Record 5-2

The Giants take our last spot in the Power Rankings for this week. They beat the Cowboys 31-28 in a very close game. Even though Eli threw two picks on the day the Giants defense came up big as DRC, Rolle & KJ Wright managed to pick off Romo one time each. In the end they held Romo to a miserable 8 for 18 passes and the Giants managed to slip away with the win. Unfortunately for the Giants they now sit on a bye week and could maybe be overtaken in the Rankings next week, it is unlikely though.

On the outside looking in: none

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings Empty Week 9

Post by Rox Tue Oct 14, 2014 8:03 am

Week 9

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 25
1. (1) San Fransisco 49ers
Blitzu
Record 7-0

Even though the 49ers had a bye last week they manage to stay atop of the Rankings due to their unbeaten record. The 49ers now look to further dominate the league as they have a neasy match up against the 1-6 Rams. The 49ers have the best defense in the league in terms of points allowed. They curretnly only have a llowed 93 points, or about 13 points per game. It shouldn't be a big hurdle to jump this Sunday vs St. Louis.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 26
2. (4) Seattle Seahawks
Jarko
Record 6-1

The Seahawks manage to go to Carolina and beat the Panthers in a thrilling contest. And even though Russell Wilson had an atrocious day where he threw 5 interceptions, Seattle managed to come up on top by picking off SuperCam three times and adding a forced fumble to the tally. The Seattle defense came up big in stops and that was the difference maker even though the ball security was at an all time low in Seattle. This week the Seahawks and the 12th man take on the Oakland Raiders which on paper looks like an easy match up, but you can never bee to careful in this league!.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 15
3. (5) Miami Dolphins
BullBallin
Record 6-1

The Dolphins take a leap up the Rankings by beating the Jags 38-20. It sure seemed like Moreno was unstoppable in Jacksonville as he racked up 235 yards (almost half of what he's gained on the year!) on the ground and added a score. The Dolphins never turned the ball over which was a great focal points for this offense this year. Even though the Miami Dolphins offense aren't in the top ten in any category they find ways to win and they will now welcome the San Diego Chargers to town for an exciting match up.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 10
4. (6) Tennessee Titans
tnbuz
Record 6-2

Tennessee clock in at number four on our Power Rankings as they manage to beat the Texans in a very close game 24-23. The workhorse of the game was Bishop Sankey as he rushed 18 times for 92 yards. Locker only threw the ball 9 times and completed 3 so maybe the Titans need to rethink their strategy if they wish to have easier games. The Titans now sit atop AFC South when they head into their bye week. The Jaguars are chasing closest behind and it'll be a tough race for sure.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 23
5. (8) Pittsburgh Steelers
Richurd
Record 6-2

Pittsburgh also are bumped up in the Rankings as they destroy the Colts 55-9. Jimmy G has found his rhythm for sure in Pittsburgh as he enjoys big games week after week. Some rumbling about PEDs are heard around the league as they sit firmly 1st in passing yards. Garoppolo threw for 390 yards and 3TDs and went 21/23 on the day which is a very good number. This week the Steelers are playing the winless Ravens and it shouldn't be anything other than a walk in the park for them.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 1
6. (2) Atlanta Falcons
mille117
Record 6-2

The Falcons got upset by the Lions 21-16 and find themselves slip in the Rankings a lot. Even though the Falcons had better yardage in every category, had 6 takeaways for 4 turnovers and more trips to the red zone they still lose as they cannot finish off their drives and had to settle for field goals. Kicker Matt Bryant went 3/4 on field goals on the day and even though the Falcons held the Lions to only 13 rushing yards they still lost the contest. This week Atlanta has a bye and it should be welcomed for them to take the time off to prepare for their next opponent and maybe practice some red-zone plays.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 29
7. (3) Carolina Panthers
Smitty
Record 6-2

Carolina fall in the Rankings as well as they lose to the Seahawks at home. Even though the Panther defense came up very big with five interceptions Marshawn Lynch had a good day where he ran for 132 yards on the Panther defense. Smitty now has to re-gather his players for their next game as they look to bounce back from a tough loss as both the Panthers and Falcons battle it out over the top spot in the NFC South. This week the Panthers play the Saints and it should be a win for the Panthers.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 12
8. (9) Kansas City Chiefs
ashman8
Record 5-2

The Chiefs had an easy match up vs the Rams where they won 59-7. Jamaal Charles had a field day where he rushed for 215 yards and three scores. The Chiefs now have a hold on the AFC West sitting above the Broncos. KC now sit 4th in rushing yards per game as they head into their week 9 match up where they take on the 0-8 Jets. This has to be a win for the Chiefs if they look to make a push for the Lombardi trophy.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 19
9. (10) New York Giants
joshtradamus
Record 5-2

Even though the Giants didn't play last week they advance a spot in the Rankings! There have been several reports of Eli Manning looking great out there after having taken several QB sacks the last few weeks. He was listed as questionable but has been taken off the injury report and is reportedly throwing bombs in practice. This week the Giants invite the Colts as they look to improve further in the NFC East. They still have the lead after their bye and if they win this week they have a strong hold on the other teams in the division.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 2
10. (-) Buffalo Bills
carden2
Record 5-3

Bills manage to climb onto the Power Rankings with a win over the Jets 45-21. The Bills had an extremely busy trade deadline after the game where they aquired plenty of talent. Stevan Ridley & Larry Fitzgerald are two big names heading to Buffalo. Against the Jets though they didn't have these pieces yet, but hey came out on top thanks to a good defense that was good at stopping the Jets. Five punts for the Jets meant that the two picks EJ threw never put the win in question. This week the Bills have a bye and it's going to be good for the Bills as they look to incorporate their new pieces into the team.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings Empty Week 10

Post by Rox Sun Oct 19, 2014 9:42 am

Week 10

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 25
1. (1) San Fransisco 49ers
Blitzu
Record 8-0

The 49ers keep on chugging with their powerful offense and they beat the RAms handily 42-6. Kaepernick throwing was the mantra of the game as he atttempted 38 throws, completed 30 and threw for over 300 yards. He also had 3 TDs and 3 Picks. The new aquisitions of Bell seems to be working as he had 16 carries for 151 yards.
This week San Fransisco head to New Orleans to take on the 1-7 Saints. I honestly don't see SF getting a loss soon.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 26
2. (2) Seattle Seahawks
Jarko
Record 7-1

The Seahawks keep the 2nd spot in our Power Rankings with a powerful statement. They shut out the Raiders and go on to win 31-0! A well rounded game and it just proves that the Seattle defense hasn't slowed down one bit since last year. It's going to be a battle between the 49ers and the Seahawks this year. Exciting stuff! Next up on the schedule are the Giants, and it promises to be an interesting game!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 15
3. (3) Miami Dolphins
BullBallin
Record 7-1

Miami show strength by winning against the chargers 49-17 in a game where the turnover battle was won by Miami. They secured the ball well and picked off Felipe Rios two times. Knowshon Moreno had a field day as he took the ball 23 times for over 200 yards and four scores. Good day for him.Next up for the Dolphins are the Lions who are 4-4. Can the Lions upset the 'Fins? I know there are teams chasing in the AFC East and the Dolphins has to make the most of every game!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 23
4. (5) Pittsburgh Steelers
Richurd
Record 7-2

The Steelers continue to climb in the Rankings as they beat the winless Ravens 41-6. Jimmy G proves valuable in Pittsburgh as he has another game without an interception! He now has 1955 passing yards on the season as the Steelers still are first in total yardage and passing yardage per game. Jimmy has a very confident running back next to him in Doug Martin who has racked up over 1000 yards rushing already! Next up for the Steelers are the Jets which should be an easy game for them.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 29
5. (7) Carolina Panthers
Smitty
Record 7-2

After the tough loss to the 'Hawks the Panthers bounce back with a close win over the Saints. The final score was 35-33 as it became somewhat of a shootout between the two teams. In the end both QBs threw two TDs, but SuperCam threw 5 TDs to Brees' 2. It was enough to win and the Panthers now jump up in the Rankings again.
The Panther's now look forward to their game in Philadelphia as they look to add another W to their record.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 10
6. (4) Tennessee Titans
tnbuz
Record 6-2

The Titans sit on their bye week and therefore slide down a few spots in the Power Rankings. However they have an easy match up this week as they play the winless Ravens. One interesting points is that no RB on the Titants has over 400 rushing yards this far into the season. It'll be very interesting if this RB committee will hold up or a true #1 RB emerges in the later stages of the season.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 1
7. (6) Atlanta Falcons
mille117
Record 6-2

The Falcons also had their bye week and they dropped a spot in the Rankings. Matt Ryan and his falcons love to pass as they sit seconds in passing yards per game after Pittsburgh. They are one of the worst teams on the ground but that doesn't stop them from winning games. This week the Falcons head to Tampa Bay as they take on the 4-4 Bucs. On paper they should win if the Bucs cannot exploit the pass heavy offense of Atlanta.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 12
8. (8) Kansas City Chiefs
ashman8
Record 6-2

KC Clock in at number 8 again as they beat the Jets 31-10. Even though Alex Smith was only 50% on completion accuracy during the game they still won handily as they picked off Big Ben three times and also forced a fumble to ensure the victory at home. Arrowhead stadium was on fire as the Jets had a very hard time getting their signals right and their plays out in time. This week KC are playing the Bills up in Buffalo and if the Chiefs can come away with the win they are looking good this year!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 19
9. (9) New York Giants
joshtradamus
Record 6-2

The Giants beat the Colts in an extremely close game. It came down to the wire and finished 35-34. Even though Eli threw two interceptions the big talk of the game was when Andrew Luck went down with an injury. It was excruciating to see and possibly a season changer for the Colts as they had to rely on veteran Matt Hasselbeck to lead the offense. And even though he did a very good job, going 11/14 for 242 yards the Giants manage to force a fumble in the late stages of the game when the Colts were in the red zone and only needed a field goal to win. What a game! This week the Giants take on the #2 Ranked Seahawks and it'll be interesting to see if Eli can manage the tough defense that Seattle bring to the table.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 30
10. (-) Jacksonville Jaguars
calliphlyboy21
Record 6-3

The Jags make their second appearance on the Power Rankings as they grab the last spot for this week. They manage to win over the Bengals 31-21 as they have built their offense around RB Jordan Todman who is the league's leading rushed so far. It must be very relaxing for Blake Bortles as a rookie QB coming in and relying on your RB to do the dirty work! Todman went for over 200 yards on 24 carries vs the Bengals and now reload and look to have another great day vs the Cowboys this week.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings Empty Week 11

Post by Rox Tue Oct 21, 2014 9:57 am

Week 11

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 25
1. (1) San Fransisco 49ers
Blitzu
Record 9-0

San Fransisco keep their undefeated streak by beatign the Saints with a score of 34-13. With their new RB Le'Veon Bell they managed to get a good momentum while keeping the Saints defense honest and scored 2 TDs on the ground as well as 2 TDs in the air. With the 49er defense adding 4 Interceptions the game was sealed. This week the 49ers play the New York Giants and it should be an interesting match up for the 49ers as they've faced weak teams since their bye week.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 26
2. (2) Seattle Seahawks
Jarko
Record 8-1

Seattle still hang onto the 2nd spot as they beat the Giants 31-21 even though the Seahawks lost the turnover battle. It really came down to Marshawn Lynch's Power Running as he got 22 handoffs for over 100 yards and two scores. This weke the 'Hawks play the Chiefs at the Arrowhead and it'll be interesting if the sound levels can throw off Russell Wilson!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 23
3. (4) Pittsburgh Steelers
Richurd
Record 8-2

The Steelers climb on the Rankings yet again with a win over the Jets. The final score was 49-17 as the pass heavy Steelers offense continued to shine. Jimmy G thrw for almost 400 yards, 3 TDs and 1 INT. This was the game that was highly anticipated since the Steelers faced Big Ben for the first time since leaving the organization. He had a good day, throwing for 201 yards with no turnovers. This week the Steelers go to Tennessee to take on the Titans which promise a good match up!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 29
4. (5) Carolina Panthers
Smitty
Record 8-2

The Panthers win again, this time over the Eagles who must be seen as an easy opponent with only one win on the season. The final score was 52-21. One big workhorse of the day was DeAngelo Williams who managed to get 45(!) carries for 205 yards and four scores. Amazing what he can do and we hope he can stay healthy for them. This week Carolina play the 7-2 Falcons for another top match up this week!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 10
5. (6) Tennessee Titans
tnbuz
Record 7-2

The Titans come back fro mtheir bye week and win over the Ravens in an easy game. 36-7 was the final score and as usual the Titans pride themselves on a fast paced offense and a monster defense. Sankey had a tough day as he got 43 carries for 155 yards. His longest was only 9 yards so it must have been a rough game for him! This week the Titans have a very important match up as they play the Steelers in a top match up. Let's see what the Titans run-stuffing defense can do vs the pass-heavy Steeler offense!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 1
6. (7) Atlanta Falcons
mille117
Record 7-2

The Falcons come back from their bye week with a win over the Bucs. 20-13 was the final score as Atlanta struggles to find their footing on the Power Rankings. They go up and down. One thing is for sure, their running game is far from average, almost outright bad and it'll probably be a focusing point for them to prepare for the playoffs. This week they have a very important match up against the divisional rival, Panthers. IT's going to be interesting to see what will happen.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 12
7. (8) Kansas City Chiefs
ashman8
Record 7-2

The Chiefs managed to jump up a spot with a tight win over the Bills. Even though the KC rush defense is a bit wavering as they allowed two backs over 100 yards on the day, they managed to come away with a 42-38 win. Alex Smith had a great day, throwing for 364 yards and four TDs with no INTs. KC Now have the #2 Rated Seahawks this week and it'll be interesting to see if they can topple the big guys.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 15
8. (3) Miami Dolphins
BullBallin
Record 7-2

Miami fall really far in this weeks Power Rankings by losing to the Lions. They couldn't really contain Reggie Bush or Matt Stafford as both of them had good days, while Ryan Tannehill threw two picks. Tannehill is good with spreading the ball around, but unfortunately his accuracy leaves something to be desired. Now the Dolhpins have to clear their heads as they have a divisional match up against hte Bills who are still chasing them from behind. The AFC East are shaping up to be interesting down the stretch!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 30
9. (10) Jacksonville Jaguars
calliphlyboy21
Record 7-3

The Jaguars manage to climb one spot on our Power Rankings as they win a very close game against hte Cowboys! The game was tight right up until the finish as Tony Romo led the Cowboys down the field with two minutes to go and found the end zone with 28 seconds left on the clock. Blake Bortles took over and went 3-5, 80 yards and had to end the game on a 44 yard hail mary to rookie Andre Robinson for victory as the game clock wound down to 0!
Bortles finished with a passer rating over 140, 3TDs and 254 yards as their star rusher Todman only amassed 79 yards on the day. This week they're heading into a bye for some well earned rest!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 19
10. (9) New York Giants
joshtradamus
Record 6-3

The Giants slip to last place on our Power Rankings this week with a loss to the Seahawks. The Legion of Boom showed to be too much of a challenge for Eli as he threw three interceptions on the day and even though the Stevie Brown and Antrel Rolle picked off Russel Wilson they couldn't turn it around. The Giants now have yet another hard match up as they play the #1 ranked San Fransisco 49ers. Tough back to back games! Let's see if the Giants can be the ones to break the undefeated streak of the 49ers.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings Empty Week 14

Post by Rox Sat Nov 01, 2014 10:20 am

Week 14

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 25
1. (1) San Fransisco 49ers
lillty
Record 12-0

San Fransisco are still undefeated even though they've switched ownership in the recent weeks. It didn't keep them from beating the Seattle Seahawks 41-36. This week the 49ers are heading to Oakland to play the Raiders. It should be an easy match up on paper. But can the new ownership keep the 49ers undefeated these last 4 games?

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 29
2. (4) Carolina Panthers
Smitty
Record 10-2

The Panthers keep on winning as well and as a result they clock in at 2nd place on our Power Rankings. Last week they beat the Vikes 31-10 in a game where they could contol the game even though they lost the turnover battle. With 3/3 on 4th down they manage to beat up Minnesota. This week the Panthers play the Saints and with a 34ppg offense they sure look like the favorites to beat the 2-10 New Orleans team.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 10
3. (5) Tennessee Titans
Manthony0507
Record 10-2

The Titans are 10-2 despite their owner passing away and their future to be put in question. Obviously the players does not want to lay down but instead make a push for the Lombardi Trophy! Last week they beat the Texans 34-7 and this week they turn their heads towards New York. I don't predict a win, the Titans rely on their defense and have a bad offense except for their rushing game. With a focused game from the Giants they are favored to win.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 15
4. (8) Miami Dolphins
BullBallin
Record 10-2

The Dolphins prove they belong in the top 5 of our Power Rankings as they crush the Jets 45-3. The Dolphins hit Big Ben so hard the Jets had to put in Michael Vick. Ouch... Moreno had a good day rushing for 124 yards on 24 attempts but it was Tannehill who got to score the TDs by throwing 6 TD passes on the day, 4 of them to Mike Wallace. This week the 'Fins play the Ravens in a match up that shouldn't be anything other than a W.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 23
5. (3) Pittsburgh Steelers
Richurd
Record 9-3

The Steelers take the 5th spot this week. Even though they beat the Saints 56-14 they drop in the rankings from last time we had our rankings. However, with Jimmy G going off for 251 yards and 4 TDs they manage to grab the win quite easily. The Steelers now take their hight powered offense who is ranked best in ppg, yards per game and passing yards per game, to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 30
6. (9) Jacksonville Jaguars
FlagCityHero
Record 9-3

The Jags manage to squeak by the Giants with a 31-28 victory. Blake Bortles had a wonderful day and threw 24 passes on target out of 30 for 310 yards and two TDs. With their star rusher Todman rushing for 162 yards they managed to win by forcing the Giants offense to pass instead of rush. The Jags have had a change of ownership as they most recent owner bought the Eagles and was forced to sell his stock in the Jags due to league policy. It'll be interesting what turn the Jags take now.

7. (2) Seattle Seahawks
N/A
Record 9-3

The Seahawks have had struggles since their owner sold the team and falls in the Rankings. They are now 9-3 after a loss to their rival 49ers. Seattle needs to find an ownership soon if they don't want to slip out of the playoff hunt! With Lynch rushing for over 1k yards, Wilson passing for over 3600 and Harvin having 1600 yards receiving there should be much hope, but not without a captain.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 17
8. (-) New England Patriots
Rox
Record 9-3

The Patriots find their way into the top 10 for the first time this season. With a 32-3 victory over the Packers they lean heavily on their star RB Dri Archer who has emerged onto the scene with a bang He had a 226 yard game vs the Packers and there are big discussion throughout the league if PEDs are involved as he shows no signs of slowing down. This week the Patriots play the Chargers and it'll be interesting to see if Archer is on fire yet again.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 12
9. (7) Kansas City Chiefs
ashman8
Record 8-4

The Chiefs sit at number 9 this week with a win over the Broncos. 45-14 was the final score and Alex Smith proved to be mightier than Peyton. 15/22 for 363 yards and 5 TDs is a very good statline and KC Seems to have found their franchise QB. The Chiefs now take on the Cards who are chasing just behind in the Power Rankings. Who will come out on top?

After an abysmal start on the season they Cardinals has turned it around and is on a huge winning streak They have definitely found their rhythm with Chris Rainey as RB and Logan Thomas calling the signals. They proved it by winning over the Falcons 23-17 as Chris Rainey got 13 carries for over 100 yards. A good day for the Cards and now they look upward at the Lombardi.

Week 15

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 25
1. (1) San Fransisco 49ers
lillty
Record 13-0

San Fran beat the Raiders 22-0 in a shutout! it was a spectacular display on defense as they picked off Mallett four times! Another cool stat of the day was that seven different guys on the 49er roster had carries in the game. SF sits tightly as our number one ranked team and this week they play the Seahawks in a grudge match. The 'Hawks lost last time and now they've gotten new ownership. Can the 49ers still be undefeated?

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 15
2. (4) Miami Dolphins
BullBallin
Record 11-2

Miami also had a shutout in their game last week. They beat the Ravens 34-0 and Knowshon Moreno had a big workload, getting 30 carries on the day. The Dolphins defense showed up and caused one int and two forced fumbles! The Dolphins sit atop AFC East and this week they play the Patriots who are in the hunt for the division title. Can the Dolphins prove that they are the better team?

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 23
3. (5) Pittsburgh Steelers
Richurd
Record 10-3

The Steelers move up in the Rankings again as they beat the Bengals with a phenomenal 48-15 victory. Both Garoppolo and Martin had astounding days, and Martin had 41 carries for 238 yards. Ouch! This week the Steelers play the Falcons and it should be a very exciting bout!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 26
4. (7) Seattle Seahawks
Skins4ever
Record 10-3

The Seahawks have new ownership and it'll be exciting to see how far this team can go now that they have a clear goal again. With a win over the Eagles 38-13 the Seahawks once again look for the Lombardi Trophy. Can they do it two years in a row?! Any way you look at it they do have a great defense and Russell Wilson has emerged as one of the best passers in the league, and he'll probably break the 4k yards passing mark in their game with the 49ers this week. Can they topple the #1 ranked team?

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 17
5. (8) New England Patriots
Rox
Record 10-3

The Patriots win over the Chargers 42-17 and the big talk of the town is Dri Archer. After an extreme outburst he gets 36 carries and rushes for 313 yards. After breaking the record he instantly got benched and no one knows why. The Fans in New England wanted him to blast that record to outer space, and when coach Walsh is asked on if he benched his star rusher due to the PED rumors he just answered, "We're on to Miami". This week the Patriots play Miami and it's a battle for the AFC East number one spot!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 29
6. (2) Carolina Panthers
Smitty
Record 10-3

The Panthers slide a couple of spots in the Rankings due to a loss to the Saints. The Final score was 10-17 and it must be seen as a failure from the Panthers who were heavily favored against the 2-10 Saints. Even though the Panther offense was better on paper, SuperCam threw three picks. This week Carolina take on the Bucs at home and they look to bounce back with an important win.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 10
7. (3) Tennessee Titans
Manthony0507
Record 10-3

The Titans first game with their new ownership result in a loss to the Giants. The Final score was 14-35 and it must be chalked up to the flux in their front office and coaching staff. When asked about it by reporters the GM of the Tennessee Titans said they'll be more than ready this week when they play the New York Jets. The Jets are tanking hard and are winless. It shouldn't be anything other than a W.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 22
8. (10) Arizona Cardinals
t_wells94
Record 9-4

The Cards prove that they are here to play and that they have extreme confidence in their starting quarterback, Logan Thomas. In the 49-25 victory over the Chiefs Thomas went 14/17 for 345 yards and four TDs. His RBs doesn't see as much action as other teams out there, but hey, if you can throw the ball, why not let him? The Cards are stone cold focused on the playoffs, and the fans are more than surprised by this big turnaround!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 30
9. (6) Jacksonville Jaguars
FlagCityHero
Record 9-4

The Jaguars unfortunately lose to the Texans 52-28. It was a very important divisional match up as they both are in the hunt for playoffs. Blake Bortles had to throw a lot as he had 39 attempts to his counterpart Fitzpatrick's 11 attempts. It looks like their star rusher Jordan Todman has lost his rhythm with this coaching change, and when asked about it after the game he responded with "I'm only here to do my job, and that's rushing." No one knows why Todman has slowed down, but if the Jags want a playoff push they need to get him going again. This week they take on the Ravens which should be an easy win and a great tiem to get him some carries.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 6
10. (-) Dallas Cowboys
podisgod
Record 8-5

The Cowboys sneak their way into our Power Rankings this week by beating the Bears 31-10! Welcome, Dallas! Tony Romo is feeling no back paints as he has passed for 3102 yards this season. The big deal on the Cowboys though are their defense as they caused one fumble and held the bears to only 22 yards on the ground! This week the Cowboys play the Eagles and they better win if they want to keep their spot in the Rankings!

3. (3) Pittsburgh Steelers
Richurd

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 15
4. (2) Miami Dolphins
BullBallin

Rox
Record 11-3

The Patriots win again, this time over the AFC East leader Dolphins. It was a blowout, and thanks to three forced fumbles and a few picks they manage to win 52-14. The Patriots do not take over the top spot in the AFC East as they've split both games with the 'Fins. They now look to play the winless Jets and it should be an easy win.

t_wells94
Record 10-4

The Cardinals win again, this time over the Rams. It was a favored victory and no one thought of an upset Mr. Logan Thomas got benched after throwing for 427 yards on 20 passes. Yikes! He only missed 7 and is a clear QB leader in Arizona. This week the Cardinals play the Seahawks in a very important matchup for the NFC playoff Seed.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 30
9. (9) Jacksonville Jaguars
FlagCityHero
Record 10-4

The Jags win over the Ravens in a game where their defense did the talking. 2 picks and a forced fumble was enough for the Jaguars to win 23-13. Now Jacksonville take on the Titans in an extremely important match up as they hunt for the divisional title! Let's see how much Bortles can do!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 6
10. (10) Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys remain in our last spot as they beat the Eagles 27-15. One big talking point was that after Sanchez going down Matt Barkley got the nod for the Eagles and went 2128 for 209 yards with one score and one pick. Maybe the Eagles have a QB controversy? Anyhow, the Cowboys had good ball security and a bright star on the day was Joseph Randle who had one carry for 45 yards! Next up for Dallas are the Colts!

1. (1) San Fransisco 49ers
skins4ever
Record 14-1

San Fransisco bounce back from their loss with a victory over the Chargers. The Final score was 35-28 where the Charger rushing game was the talk of the day. 49ers won even though the Chargers put up 187 yards on the ground but due to good game management the 49ers managed to win. The last week of our regular season rankings and next up for the 49ers are the fearsome Cardinals!

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 23
2. (3) Pittsburgh Steelers
Richurd
Record 12-3

The Steelers take the number 2 spot as they beat up the Chiefs 34-7. Their main man Doug Martin had 23 carries for 201 yards and he broke off a long one for 62 yards. Incredible as the race for the rushing title narrows down with one game to go. Last up for the Steelers are the Bengals.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 15
3. (4) Miami Dolphins
BullBallin
Record 12-3

Miami win after their loss, this time they win over the Vikings 41-21. Tannehill had a decent day, throwing for 282 yards, 3 TDs and an INT. They are in a tough battle for the top spot in the AFC East with the Patriots. They have the same record and they've split the series between them. It'll be interesting to see who can nab the #1 place. Last up for the 'Fins are the 0-15 Jets and it should be easy.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 17
4. (5) New England Patriots
Rox
Record 12-3

The Patriots win over the Jets 42-13 in a game where the work came on the ground as usual. Dri Archer had 256 yards and now grab a commanding lead in the rushing title race. With one game to go, and with Archer breaking the record, can he hold on over the Steelers' Doug Martin? Last up for the Pats are the Bills.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 29
5. (6) Carolina Panthers
Smitty
Record 12-3

The Panthers beat up the Browns and they also shut them out, 28-0. An amazing game from the Panther defense as they force 4 punts from the Browns. Add 3 Sacks and you have a shutout! Now the Panthers look to play the Falcons and it'll be interesting to see if their starters are resting for the playoffs.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 10
6. (7) Tennessee Titans
Manthony0507
Record 12-3

The Titans win over their rivals, the Jaguars and they dash their hopes of a division title. The Titans now have it locked up with the 42-14 victory. Tennessee still hasn't found a great offensive core, but their defense is a top unit and they win games handily. Since the division is locked up but the seeding is far from done it'll be interesting to see who comes out on top in the AFC with 4 teams sitting at 12-3.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 22
7. (8) Arizona Cardinals
t_wells94
Record 11-4

The Cardinals beat the tough Seahawks, and they now look forward to the playoffs. They both are secured a playoff spot, but it's only a matter of who will be the #5 or #6 seed in the NFC. Cardinals look primed and ready to take on the 49ers on the last game of the regular season. And maybe the 49ers are resting their starters? Insider info tells us they are.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 26
8. (2) Seattle Seahawks
ti-fuiffe
Record 11-4

After the impressive win over the 49ers, the Seahawks take one of the biggest dives ever in our Power Rankings. They lose to the Cardinals and they drop to the #8 position. Ouch. The Seahawks now rely on Russell Wilson to win them their last game of the season vs the Rams, which should be an easy one.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 6
9. (10) Dallas Cowboys
podisgod
Record 10-5

The Cowboys gain a ranking by beating the Colts 35-26 in a game where DeMarco Murray had a field day. 22 carries for 163 yards and three scores is a good day and the Cowboys come away with the win. The Cowboys now play the Redkins in their last game and they really need to win if they want to secure that playoff spot.

[Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 30
10. (9) Jacksonville Jaguars
FlagCityHero
Record 10-5

The Jags lose to the Titans 14-42 and they now have to settle for a wildcard spot. But in order to secure a playoff spot they need to win their last game, otherwise they can be overtaken by teams looking in. In their last game of the season they play the Texans who obviously are one of the teams looking to nab that last spot. It'll be one of the more interesting match ups this last gameday.

On the outside looking in: [Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 12(9-6), [Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 27(9-6), [Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 1(9-6), [Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 19(9-6), [Week 16] Rox's ELY Power Rankings 34(9-6)
