Hey guys,
I found a link to this on the madden subreddit and decided to come see if there's room for an extra coach! I've already read your rules and I might have to play with em next to me the first few times (those 4th down rules based on score/quarter might be a little tough to remember), but I agree with all of them and it sounds like you do a lot of work to keep the stats reasonable and teams competitive.
I'd prefer the chiefs, but other than that, who do you have available?
Also, one more big thing: will you start a new league on Madden 15 (PS3 - NOT PS4) when it comes out in the Fall?

Hi there, sorry for the late reply. Been absorbed into playoff basketball.

- To touch on your point about the rules, don't stress too much about them. We treat them more as guidelines, honestly. Basically they're just meant to keep new people like you or anyone else honest in gameplay. We want people to play the game right without being forced to do so, but if they can't we have the rules to take action based off of.
Treating them in terms of league oversight as guidelines certainly doesn't mean they can be broken as if it is commonplace by any means though. Rather, it only means we aren't going to sweat it if you take some coaching prerogative and do a 4th down that isn't necessarily allowed by the letter of the law. We're not going to sit here and dictate how the game is to be played unless it is necessary, unlike many leagues that get down into some awfully strict regulations. Our rules aren't a cakewalk either, but they're basically constructed based off common sense. If you're playing a straight game of Madden with your opponent it'd be one hell of an accomplishment to serious break one rule or more.
TL:DR^^^: Don't worry about keeping them by ya, just play the game as I hope you will with common sense and respect for your opponent and you'll be set.
Right now we only have the Buccaneers open.
Yes. We will be opening a PS3 league at the bare minimum once the new Madden hits. It projects to be a Day 1 league.

Fantastic. Buccaneers are just fine. And I'd like to get into a good league to have an awesome start to the season next year! So much to look forward to! I'd love to get The Chiefs, but it looks like "ChiefsFan7557" might be ahead of me on that list.
Regardless, this sounds like fun. I'll do it. If you wanna send an invite to TomohawkZZ-8, I'll accept as soon as I can, get on the cycle, and see what I can do with my team! Was it player owned?
