A possible postseason preview
The Colts and Bengals met today in a heavyweight matchup of two of the AFCs best teams. It was a day Andrew Luck would rather forget as he threw 4 interceptions and zero touchdowns as the Bengals dominated from the opening play to the very end. On the first play of the game, Luck threw a pick right into Leon Hall's hands who then took it all the way to give the Bengal a 7-0 lead and they never looked back from there. The high flying Colts offense was held to 128 total yards on the day as Giovanni Bernard controlled pace of the game rushing for 102 yards on 16 carries for 1 TD. He also added 3 catches for 45 yards and another TD. The win doesn't come without consequence as Andy Dalton went down in the middle of the third with a quad injury. The team is still awaiting a timetable for his return. John Skelton came in relief but never threw the ball downfield, relying on screens and the steady rushing of Bernard. AJ Green and Tyler Eifert also added in scoring receptions before Dalton went down. The real winner was Cincy's special teams as Pacman Jones and Latroy Hawkins provided one big return after another. The Bengals started in Indy territory on every possession of the game. The was a key victory as it put Cincy in control of the number 2 seed and the coveted first round bye. For Indy, this marks their second loss in a row. On another note, congrats to TY Hilton on breaking Jerry Rice's single season receiving yards mark.

Sounds like an interesting game, best of luck to Dalton, and Luck to a better game.
